Shout out to mes amies...
and Ireland.
Though we live in a tiny little island,
it's a great one. Honestly, as much as
I love complaining about it, I hold it
dear to my heart. I mean there's not
many countries that are like ours.
I could go off on a Hugh Grant (as Prime Minister
in Love Actually) esque spiel (about Ireland, Not
Britain obviously), but I won't.
I'll leave you with this.
If you do one thing this weekend:
-DON'T go see the new Sex & The City, it is
not worth it (and i loved the series/1st movie)
-have a bottle of wine, a good meal and a long
chat with one of your besties
-listen to the lovely Villagers - Becoming a Jackel, and then
download the album because it's great.
This weekend, I'll be:
-going to Liverpool for my dear dear friends birthday!
Never been to The Beatles city before
-watching Ireland (win?) in the Eurovision...
Cheesy, but I'm still obsessed with it!
-taking advantage of the weak pound and
buying things in Topshop like jeans (€61 here, £40 there!!) and
maybe, maybe, this little playsuit
lastly...
I am looking for some new books to read so any
recommendations are most welcome!
Grazie tutti! xo

Have you read "I Capture the Castle"? I love it.
Also, what's Eurovision??
No! And it's one I've been meaning to read, so thank you :)
I don't know where to begin with eurovision, it's basically an annual song contest that most European countries compete in. It's as cheesy and camp as it sounds, but Irelands won 7 times (very proud of that!). If you have a spare hour, youtube it, pretty hilarious. Oh and it's actually how Riverdance came to fame!
I AGREE with you on SATC. I just saw it and it was suuuuch a bad movie, so unfortunate. Like, no plot and terrible writing. As for book reco, have you read The Glass Castle yet? I recommend it to everyone - I love memoirs!
