So if you're ever in Salzburg and you've got a few hours to kill, oh and you're a HUGE Sound Of Music fan, well then you should do the Maria Bike Tour!!

We were going to do the coach tour that everyone does but we'd rented bikes from our hostel for the day so it made more sense to do the bike tour. Also, do Maria and the children get on a coach in the film? No! They do, however, cycle around the beautiful Salzburg!



It was seriously one of the best days of my life. We cycled past all the main points from the film and then out to the countryside with The Alps in the background. There was one point when the guide gave us little mp3 players with the soundtrack! So we listened to them as we cycled through a massive meadow. I just about burst with happiness. And of course I've got loads of photos that I can't show you right now because my feckin' Mac is full!
