Cut a citrus fruit in half, scoop out fruit (and use for whatever you want!) and fill with jelly (or jello for you north americans!). I think I'll be making this over the summer, and alcohol might be involved.

What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?
My friends and I are having a 'recession' friendly dinner. We were going to get dressed up and have dinner out somewhere nice, but ultimately decided to have a good old fashioned dinner party with lots of champagne. I'm in charge of the main course and will be doing a roast chicken with all the trimmings. In lieu of desserts, we'll be making (and drinking) cocktails, which I think is far better. And then squash into a pub somewhere to countdown to 2011!
