World Cup starts tomorrow!

I've decided I'm supporting Ivory Coast (they speak french and have
the same flag as us, ish) so can't wait to see what they pull out of the bag.

Other teams I'll be keeping an eye
on/watching the matches are:
Argentina
Italy

And maybe France.
That all depends how much it hurts to watch them.
Thierry, you're pretty to look at
but I'll never forget.

Fair play Lads!

There's a nationwide man hunt for Mr. Thierry Henry.

Apparently Henry forgot what sport he was playing when he handled the ball, twice, last night during the World Cup playoff that cost us our place in South Africa.

Who knows if we would have got through had it gone to penalties but it would have been a just and fair game if that had happened.

I hope that FIFA seriously think about the lack of a video referee in football. Watch this space...

In Franco-Irish news, it was announced this week that Ireland will play France in November in the World Cup playoffs. I'm obviously rooting for Eire but, should they not make it through, my support will of course go to La France!
