What song are you listening to?

Fun video where a guy in NYC asks just that to people on the streets.
Cute.

(My iTunes is currently playing Suedehead by Morrissey)

Ashley Olsen in Christian Dior (with Christian Louboutin)

Sarah Jessica Parker in Alexander McQueen

Diane Kruger in Jason Wu (with the man himself) (but where's Joshua Jackson?!)

Emma Roberts in Michael Kors. Her hair is lovely too.

Mia Wasikowska in Thakoon (he is the cutest little thing)

Check out this lovely little documentary about The Sartorialist. It's cool to see how he takes the pics we know and love!

Speaking of, how great is her hair? Seriously considering dying mine that colour!

New Year's Resolutions never really work out for me... who do they work for?

So this year, I'm going with some feasible goals.
In 2011, I fully intend on going to NYC with the girls...

Other little goals:
-learn another language... Spanish?
-be more creative. I'm going to take up painting, for fun!
-be inventive when it comes to food, try EVERY recipe

And then there's the usual: be punctual, exercise more, lose 2 stone...

2011, I'm kind of excited to see what you have in store for me!

Kind of obsessed with the Modern Love columns in The NY Times.
Well, when I say columns, I mean the pieces I've read online.

There's one about the ex husband who never left, one about toddler love. Basically anything to do with love, there's a piece on it. Check it out!

It's a wonderful town...
(click on it to play)

There's a possibility that I'll be going to stay
with some friends in Toronto this September
and if this happens, we'll probably rent a car
and drive down through New England to NYC!!!
I haven't been to the States in SEVEN years.

And, I need to go to there.
I'll be a good tourist.
I promise, I won't be like all the other
Irish ones who go "for the shopping".
I promise I'll eat in good restaurants,
and steer clear of Magnolia Bakery.
I promise I won't do the SATC tour.

Though, I might have this song in my head as I wander (cycle?) around the city.

found the video on the wonderful NY Mag website.

New York Magazine have compiled "The Ultimate New York Playlist".

I wouldn't even know where to begin if I was making a Dublin Playlist.

Anyway, faves from the NY ones include: Simon&Garfunkel, The Strokes (of course), and LCD Soundsystem.

This looks cute.

Makes me want to cycle around Brooklyn wearing a little dress I have that's covered in sailboats.

I also want to see Valentine's Day... but am not so sure after reading this 'lovely' review.

Makes me wish I had a Valentine... and lived in New York.

In my New York life (the one where I live in a brownstone, wear a mishmash of designer and vintage, and cycle around the city on Sundays), I lunch with these ladies. They blog daily about what they have for lunch (and then dessert).

One word: MIAM*
