I'm going to Paris in less than two weeks (crutches or no crutches!) and have been drooling over everything on the city of lights.
I saw Midnight in Paris last week and it was divine. I think I need to see it again and actually pay attention to the plot this time, I was just gazing at the beautiful scenery in the background.

Here's the opening credits:

I won't lie when I say my heart hurt a little bit watching this film, but I shall see my lovely city so soon!

on a somewhat related note, I've been trawling through this amazing blog.

Behold, some lovely pics from (I think) the most recent PFW.

Currently incapacitated after falling down the stairs. My leg is in a cast (for at least a week) and I feel like Jimmy Stewart in Rear Window.

Cabin fever is already beginning to set in, and it's only day one.

I'm not an especially active person but I don't like the idea of being confined to the couch for 6 days. And the thought of not being able to cook (my only relaxation method) is killing me!

I've got some work I need to catch up on and lots of TV to watch.

And I just started reading this:

I think I've got enough to keep me occupied, but would greatly appreciate any cures for boredom?

Merci mes amies!

a lesson, of sorts, in british pop:

Obviously there was the Spice Girls.

Then Girls Aloud came on the scene, tanned within an inch of their little lives

A few years later they started releasing solo stuff, this recent one being a gem
(in my opinion)

And The Saturdays 'took over' the girl band crown with dance tunes like this new one.
LOVE.

two of the girls (guess which ones if you don't already know) started life in S Club Juniors. Who were a baby version of...

...yep, S Club (formerly S Club 7)!
Best. Song. Ever.

Wasn't that a fun way to spend the past... 2 mins if you read/15ish if you watched the videos?
