January is so perfect for hibernating in a good book, or going to the cinema.

Since I've got the books covered, I was looking at some
trailers and there's lots of great films coming out!

Verrry excited for The Kings Speech

The Coen brothers remake of the old western True Grit

Not entirely sure what this one's about but it's got the 'biutiful'
Javier Bardem speaking Spanish, that's enough for me. Biutiful

Jake, take me now. Love and Other Drugs

Ryan Gosling & Michelle Williams look pretty perfect together. Blue Valentine

This looks incredible, but scary... Black Swan

29 November, 2010

It really is beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

The toy show, which was one of the best yet, was followed by a night of THUNDERSNOW. Yes, there is such a thing. It rarely snows here, and we don't get much thunder so a combo of the two was a littttle odd.

Now everyone is being very Irish and talking about the weather non-stop (myself included). AND, it's meant to continue throughout the week with 25cm (twenty-five!) forecast for tonight! It makes everything look pretty which is great seen as how the country is f**ked in every other way.

This little dude was easily my fave on Friday. So sure of himself and not in a precocious way like some kids can be.

Tonight, I'm going to make some lasagne and FINALLY read 'Never Let Me Go' by the fire.

I'm getting a leeeetle excited about Christmas. Although I think it's too soon to start listening to Christmas tunes and watching films but I bought this cute scarf today (Pennys €4, bargain!) to inject a bit of festiveness to my drab wardrobe!

There's a matching hat but I think it might be too Kevin McAllister-y?!

Apparently, a storm is heading our way!

So most of my Sunday has consisted of waiting for said storm,

and sitting by the fire

Making (and eating) these

And looking forward to the finale of this:

SO good!

Today is the first day that it really feels like winter. It's baltic today! Which means, tomorrow is winter wardrobe time!!

14 October, 2010

Inspired by various posts around the net (like this one) I have compiled a little winter wishlist.

Out of all the following items, this is the one I'll most likely buy.

Kind of Little House on The Prarie-y, but I like.

This is a perfect mesh of grannychic and childish. LOVE.

Love this skirt, esp paired with a denim shirt!

Q: How warm does this coat look? A: Very

This would be great for evening wear and parties, love the bow.

I am big fan of the peter pan collar

LOVE this cape from Penny's but haven't seen it instore yet...

More to come.
